4. Are the rooms fully furnished?
Yes. All our rooms come furnished with essentials like a bed, study desk and chair, study lamp, pin board, chair, wardrobe, and curtains. Common areas (kitchens and bathrooms) are also equipped with all necessary appliances.
5. Are your accommodations NSFAS-accredited?
Yes, many of our properties are NSFAS-accredited, meaning you can use your NSFAS funding to cover your rent, as long as you meet the funding requirements.
6. How close are your properties to campus?
Our properties are located in key student areas and within walking or easy commuting distance to universities, colleges, and public transport.
7. Can I choose who I share with?
If you’re applying with a friend, let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to place you in the same property or even the same room (if applicable).
8. What does rent include?
Rent typically covers furniture, water, electricity (with limits), Wi-Fi, and maintenance. Details may vary by property, but we always aim to keep costs transparent.
9. Is there Wi-Fi at all properties?
Yes! All My Student House properties include free Wi-Fi so you can study, stream, and stay connected.
10. Is it safe?
Student safety is our top priority. Our properties are in secure areas and include features such as burglar bars, gated access, and regular maintenance checks.
