Accommodation costs, lease terms, and fees per city
Lease Terms
- Lease agreements run from 1 February to 30 November (10 months).
- Full-year leases cannot be cancelled.
- Second-semester leases may be shorter and are processed from May, subject to availability.
- For NSFAS-accredited accommodation, the approved rental amount will be covered in line with NSFAS funding guidelines.
- Where a student's funding does not fully cover the rental amount, the student will be responsible for settling the remaining balance directly with the accommodation provider.
